Early Years: Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten

Our Early Years welcome children from age 2 in Pre-Nursery through to Kindergarten, the year before Grade 1 - the years many French-speaking families call école maternelle.

It is a warm, structured start to school life, built around language, play and growing confidence, that gets children ready for primary school.

What children work on

English, French, Malagasy and Chinese are among the school's subjects. Ask us which languages are taught at your child's level.

Beyond lessons

School activitiesAlongside the academic program, children can take part in activities such as robotics, chess, swimming, dance and taekwondo. Ask us which activities are open for your child's level and campus.Digital learningEnrolled students receive a Student ID from the school and use our Digital Ecosystem for lessons, homework and school announcements - on a computer, a tablet or our Android app.

From what age can my child start?

Pre-Nursery welcomes children aged 2–3. Nursery is for ages 3–4, Pre-Kindergarten is for ages 4–5, Kindergarten is for ages 5–6.

Which campus offers these classes?

Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten are offered at both of our campuses, Antanimena and Iavoloha; Pre-Nursery is offered at Iavoloha.

What comes after Kindergarten?

Children continue into Grade 1, the first year of our Primary school.

How do I apply?
